I love to dance...dont YOU?
Being a NYC party caricature artist, I've gone to literally THOUSANDS of parties over the years. As a result, I've fallen in love with dancers, and as a frequent subway surfer. slash. sketcher, I come in contact with a lot of breakdancer. I can even but a few moves myself. Here are some popping tutorials, that I like:

experiments....

Doing some experiments on my client's webcomic, Larger than Life, by Nathan Scott.
In the upcoming episode, I have the main character Seven, and his partner, boye, sucked into his mac computer that they were trying to fix. Its not an original theme, but i had fun experimenting with different ways to render the characters. I took a lot of inspiration for Scott Mc Clouds reinventing comics book, as well as his website. This panels arent in sequential order, and they're just part of an overall story.

Wiremonkey Sketches

Here are a few sketches from an animated short that I've been working on with Wiremonkey films. I did the character designs, storyboards, layouts and keyframes for the project. The flash animation was done beautifully by a Thailanese flash animator named Win. The Project is almost done, and will be appearing as a "commercial" as part of a live action film, entitled, "Comedy on Comedy." I will keep you posted.

Pulp Fiction the animated series by subwaysurfer

Let's not forget Samuel L Jackson's character, "Jules" from the same movie. My task now is to combine the two characters into one picture. i will probably take the suit off of Sam and put him in his skivvies, like John.
here are two earlier versions of Vincent that i thought I'd go with, but i think the first one of him getting hosed down is the strongest.

caricature noir
and yet another attempt....

Caption: Well, for the record, YOUR BREATH is pretty rotten too!
Again, not hilarious stuff, but Im in there swinging....and missing! LOL! The art director said that my toons were "too cartoony" last week, this week he said they were"too corny!" LOL! cant wait to see what I;m gonna be "too" next week!
another attempt at the New Yorker Magazine

Caption: We'll have your test results as soon as your check clears...
Okay, I aint gonna win any commedy awards writing stuff like this, but if you've ever read The New Yorker Magazine, you realize in no time that it aint exactly mad magazine. The cartoons seem kinda bland, and stuck in a 1950's time warp , but they do pay well providing you can get one in! I started a habit of going every week to take a gamble. I figured that sooner or later I gotta hit! and i also get the opportunity to rub shoulders with some really old school cartoonists.
