Such a fun face to draw... Im gonna miss him!

snnneaaaak peak character design.....

heres a sneak peek at some characters Im doing for an upcoming cartoon shordo done in conjunction with the folks at snidetv.com

This character is a comedy club manager . Wehen I developed him, I channeled Comedian, Ben Stiller, of the show, "The King of Queens"> Siller plays the character, Arthur Sponner hilariously. I also thought about Danny Devito. This character is appearing in a skit with President George Bush. More later when it launches. If you havent seen the first cartoon check it out on www.snidetv.com

subway dancing

Salah again THIS time dancing in the SUBWAY!! AWESOME!!

Dance! Dance !! DANCE!!!

A funny thing happened on the street the other day while i was doing caricatures. A group of people actually paid me for DANCING. When I'm inbetween customers, I distract myself by "Popping" (that's the dance I do). Doing this helps to keep my energy level and enthusiasm up, draws a crowd, and seperates me from the other vendors.

It also helps that Im pretty good at it! Anyways a group of guys were so entertained by my antics that they came over and paid me, saying they enjoyed the show!

Speaking of a show, here's Salah, a European popper and one of my favorite dancers!

Everybody dance!

More DANCING

I love to dance...dont YOU?

Being a NYC party caricature artist, I've gone to literally THOUSANDS of parties over the years. As a result, I've fallen in love with dancers, and as a frequent subway surfer. slash. sketcher, I come in contact with a lot of breakdancer. I can even but a few moves myself. Here are some popping tutorials, that I like:

New stuff!

Met this person on the train and she actually asked to have this done!

experiments....

Doing some experiments on my client's webcomic, Larger than Life, by Nathan Scott.

In the upcoming episode, I have the main character Seven, and his partner, boye, sucked into his mac computer that they were trying to fix. Its not an original theme, but i had fun experimenting with different ways to render the characters. I took a lot of inspiration for Scott Mc Clouds reinventing comics book, as well as his website. This panels arent in sequential order, and they're just part of an overall story.

Wiremonkey Sketches

Here are a few sketches from an animated short that I've been working on with Wiremonkey films. I did the character designs, storyboards, layouts and keyframes for the project. The flash animation was done beautifully by a Thailanese flash animator named Win. The Project is almost done, and will be appearing as a "commercial" as part of a live action film, entitled, "Comedy on Comedy." I will keep you posted.
